The Energy Saving Trust is a non-profit organisation, funded both by government and the private sector. Their aim is to cut emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) by promoting the sustainable and efficient use of energy.

The Energy Savings Trust website gives Information and advice on how you can be more energy efficient in your home. It gives information on anything from insulation and energy saving appliances to generating your own energy.

Home improvement grants from the Government, energy suppliers and local authorities can help you renovate your home to make it more energy efficient. The Energy Savings Trust website provides a search facility that shows you the grants available for your postcode:
